The Internet is full of places to look for a job. You can also go to a company's website and learn more about that company. This shows a good interest during an interview. Here are a few places to get started.
www.craigslist.com -- FREE
Craig's list is a great place to spend some time looking. It was setup as a database (place to put information) for anyone. You can shop, look for housing and find posted jobs. It easy and free to use. Just pick your State on the right-hand side, then choose the city or area you want to search.
In addition to searching for jobs, you can post an advertisement that you're looking for work, along with any job skills you have, or the kind of work you're looking for. Remember, if you are within a year of your release date, the company hiring you can get a tax credit, which you can use to give you an advantage over someone else who doesn't have one.
